Meet Arantza Mata LAC
I'm a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Associate trauma therapist and relationship counselor based in Phoenix, deeply committed to helping people heal through life’s most challenging experiences. Since beginning my practice in 2021, I’ve had the honor of working with individuals and couples across a wide range of settings—from community mental health clinics to private practice, and even in high-stakes environments like immigration and asylum evaluations.
My approach is grounded, compassionate, and evidence-based. I'm trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy—modalities that help people not just manage symptoms, but create lasting change and deeper connection in their lives and relationships.
Whether you're navigating trauma, struggling in your relationship, or facing a major life transition, I provide a safe and affirming space where healing can begin.
